Camera count depends on your floor plan, coverage requirements, and loss prevention priorities. A typical 3,000 sq ft retail location might require 8-12 cameras covering entrances, POS areas, stock rooms, and parking. Healthcare clinics often need 6-10 cameras focused on entrances, waiting areas, and pharmacy. We conduct site surveys and work from your specifications to determine the right count for each location.

Axseter is brand-agnostic. We install all major commercial camera systems including Axis, Hanwha (formerly Samsung), Verkada, Avigilon, Bosch, and Hikvision. We also work with cloud-managed platforms like Verkada and Rhombus, and enterprise VMS platforms like Milestone and Genetec. Our role is to execute your specifications—not to push a particular product.

Video retention requirements vary by state and industry. Healthcare facilities may need 90-day retention for compliance, while financial services often require 180 days. We configure NVR storage and recording schedules per your compliance team's requirements and adjust for local regulations at each location. All retention settings are documented and auditable.

Each IP camera typically requires 2-8 Mbps depending on resolution, frame rate, and compression settings. A 10-camera deployment at 1080p/15fps using H.265 compression needs approximately 20-40 Mbps of dedicated bandwidth. We coordinate with your IT team to ensure the network infrastructure supports your surveillance requirements, including VLAN segmentation and PoE switch capacity.
